GATESVILLE- Trillium Health Resources is hosting an event here next week that focuses on reentry to society after incarceration

Re-entry Simulation will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 12 noon on Tuesday, April 29 at Upper Room Assembly Church, located at 807 Main Street in Gatesville.

The event will provide a hands-on experience of the barriers for individuals released from incarceration, including those with severe substance use, mental illness, and intellectual /developmental disabilities. Through volunteers and role-playing, attendees experience situations trying to access services and resources that are often challenging and difficult to navigate.

The event is free and open to the public. Anyone can visit Trillium’s website to learn more and register for the event.
