MURFREESBORO – The Murfreesboro Area Homeschoolers group is hosting their second Homeschool Makers Market from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 1 at Collin Road Farms, located at 233 Collin Road, Murfreesboro.
The event showcases what the students have learned about small business ownership, marketing, branding, and more through their creativity.
The students are makers, bakers, artisans, and crafters who will have their “artwork” for sale to the public in a student-run vendor event. Items offered for sale include sweet treats, custom decal designs, lemonade, slime kits, wooden spoons and games, paintings and artwork, beaded and clay jewelry, farm fresh eggs, origami, bees wax candles, custom t-shirts, garden seedlings, baby chicks, customizable donuts, and paracord.
The public is invited to support the local homeschool students and see a local farm and its livestock.
