GATESVILLE – Due to the severe weather forecast for northeastern North Carolina, Emily Truman, chair of the Gates County Board of Commissioners, has cancelled Wednesday’s (Feb. 19) regular meeting of the board.

That meeting is rescheduled for next Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 6 p.m.

Likewise, the two Town Hall meetings (Opioid Task Force and Re-Entry Council) originally scheduled for Wednesday Feb. 19 have been cancelled and rescheduled for 5 p.m. on Feb. 26.

All of those meetings will be held on the second floor of the 1836 Historic Gates County Courthouse in the Commissioners Chamber.
