The Gates County Chamber of Commerce is growing!

Chamber officials recently announced the addition of six new members who have joined in the past few months. Those new members are as follows:

Dixie Rentals and Disposal, managed by Thomas Ward, is a dumpster service. It is located at 980 Route 158 East in Sunbury (phone 252-465-8516.

Dixie Towing and Recovery, managed by Tommy Ward, a towing (automotive) service, is located at the same address and shares the same phone number.

TW’s Outdoor & Hardware, managed by Caleb Richardson, is located at 1000 Route 158 East, Sunbury. The phone number for the hardware store is (252) 465-4211.

Tamara Metzger is the local representative for Focus Answering Service. The home office is located in Eldersburg, MD, with service available locally. Tamara’s phone number is (202) 324-4370.

Northeast Workforce Development Board is represented by Trina Scippio and located at 101 ARPDC Street in Hertford (252) 404-7083. The Board also has an office in Elizabeth City and provides services throughout the local area.

Brenda and Graham Hatch have been members (Sunbury Fields) for several years and have taken advantage of the Chamber’s recently revised membership dues structure. When the owner of a business owns a second business, he/she may buy a half-price membership for that business. The Teacherage bed and breakfast, 111 Hwy. 32 North, Sunbury, owned by the Hatches, is the most recent new Chamber member. The phone number is (252) 455-9077.

The Chamber has recently pro-rated dues for new members who join during the calendar year.
