SUNBURY – Studio 32 will be celebrating its 10 year anniversary on Saturday, Nov. 4 with an Open House from 4-7:30 pm.

In addition to seeing the creative art pieces from over 40 local and regional artists (all available for purchase), guests will enjoy watching Gates County art teacher Tricia Lewis create a demonstration of a painting of a scene in the county and Joe Wise demo his art of scrimshaw on a knife. Both of these will be raffled off at the end of the night, in addition to a basket of yummy treats. All raffle tickets will be $1 or three for $5. Raffle tickets may be purchased in advance at the shop.

The Big Boss Burrito Food Truck will be available in the parking lot from 5-7:30 p.m. for purchasing their delicious food along with complimentary snacks, drinks and desserts (from Paradiso Roma restaurant and Batter Up) in Studio 32. You can even sign up for FYBE Internet and receive a coupon for Big Boss Burrito!

Ten painted chairs will be displayed and auctioned off through the Studio’s Facebook site, Chair-ity Fundraiser, throughout the month of November. Chair artists include Rose Duckworth, Terri James, Tammy Lassiter, Lindy Nowlin, Mary Scott and Susan Ward.

Dress is casual for this celebration. Come and enjoy this special art place in Gates County, where not only local art is exhibited and sold, classes for children and adults are offered. If you’ve been meaning to stop by, this is a good time to see Studio 32.
