EURE – A local man was placed under arrest for several charges near here recently

Gates County Sheriff Ray Campbell and his deputies served a search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of US 13 North, Eure.

During the search, Brian Bond Jr. was found to be in possession of narcotics, firearms, drug paraphernalia, and cash.

Bond was taken into custody and charged with four felonies: possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule VI controlled substance, and maintaining a dwelling for the use and/or sale of a controlled substance.

Bond was additionally charged with one misdemeanor: possession of drug paraphernalia.

Campbell said additional charges are pending.
