GATESVILLE – The popular “Light Up the Millpond” is back!

The event consists of Christmas holiday decorations lining the Visitors Center road at Merchants Millpond State Park. There is no admission fee, but donations are accepted.

The decorations will be lit from 5-8 p.m. on the Friday/Saturday weekends of Nov. 25-25, Dec. 2-3, Dec. 9-10, and Dec. 16-17.

They will also be lit for viewing from 5-8 p.m. on the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday before Christmas (Rec. 21-23).

The lights are sponsored by the Gates County Community Events Committee and The Friends of the Millpond.
